Heal Your Ascendents (Ancestors): A Reiki Healing Experiment

Ascendent = Ancestor

We can inherit much more than physical characteristics from our ascendents. We inherit thought and behavior patterns. We inherit beliefs. We are the carriers of their traumas and fears. This is one reason to take part in this healing experiment. Another is compassion for the trials and tribulations our ancestors have suffered throughout the ages.

Reiki Master Laurelle Shanti Gaia wrote an article for Reiki News about how this practice helped her. Read it here: Reiki and Healing Our Ancestors

Ground, Shield, Invite your Guides & Allies to help and supportUsing intention or Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen send Reiki to yourself to heal anything you carry from your ancestors genetic, adopted and anyone who had a strong role in raising you. Also offer Reiki to these people. You can focus on your immediate relations or go ahead and send with the intention that anyone connected to you in this manner may receive Reiki if they wish it. IF you start to pick up emotion from your relations reinforce your shielding. You do not need to feel other people’s feelings for you to assist their healing. In fact it can block it because you are doing their emotional processing for them so they never learn to develop a healthy emotional life including coping skills. Guide, assist, support, facilitate but never take on other’s illness or emotion.After ground again and thank your guides.
